The Family in Action

Fitness and family are inseparable for the Terans. Whether it’s sprints, stadium runs, gym sessions, or hikes at Hillcrest Park in Fullerton, weekends are a time for shared workouts. They frequently train at Yorba Linda High School, Cal State Fullerton, and the local gym, making fitness a cornerstone of their lifestyle.

The family actively participates in Spartan and DEKA Racing events and collaborates on G3 instructional videos. Cynthia leads bootcamps, often joined by Carissa, while Olivia showcases her athletic skills alongside friends. Together, they create content that highlights athletic excellence. The family also records G3 podcasts, with Cynthia, Steve, and Carissa interviewed by Olivia.

Faith is central to their lives—they attend church together, study the Bible as a family, and cherish every moment spent together.

Holiday Traditions

Holidays are no exception to the Terans’ active lifestyle. Cynthia organizes an “Annual Turkey Trot to burn calories before you eat them,” often joined by Carissa. Meanwhile, Steve hosts the family’s legendary Turkey Bowl, where Olivia teams up with her dad. Their record? An impressive 32-0!

Even on Christmas and other holidays, the Terans start their mornings with family workouts, exemplifying their year-round commitment to health and fitness.

Blanca Teran: The Matriarch or Athleticism

The Teran household is also home to Steve’s mother, Blanca. Born in 1943 in Lima, Peru, Blanca was part of her hometown’s first college women’s soccer team. After moving to the U.S. in 1963, she continued her active lifestyle and remains incredibly fit at 81 years young. Her athletic legacy inspires her family to push boundaries and excel in every endeavor.
